He takes off,
Leaving the winds behind.
He doesn’t want to win, just run,
This is the last race of his life.
He goes faster now,
Not afraid of the past.
It is the present that scares him,
As does the cloudy forecast.
He has made up his mind,
To let go of things beyond control.
And before life can beat him,
He hits the floor.
Umm, this is a little different from your usual style. Seems like there's too much emphasis on the last verse, line.
ReplyDeleteThis wasn't conceived during the movie, now was it? not saying that there wasn't time to cook up a poem during it.
The last line is important since it says his last race is him jumping to his death. Not sure about too much emphasis. Also, never heard of the movie.
